Our Staff

JeffKayeHead professional Jeff Kaye has been the club professional at Livingston since 1989. He brings expertise, quality, and character to this Country Club.  Jeff is a regular participant in WNY PGA Golf Tournaments.  Prior to Livingston, Jeff worked at the Lakeview Country Club in North East, PA, where he grew up, and at Elkdale Country Club in Salamanca. He currently resides with his lovely family in Geneseo.

In addition to holding the course record at Livingston with an impressive 64, Jeff is an accomplished tournament player recognized around the region and state.  In 2004 Jeff won five tournaments in the WNY PGA Section.  In 2005 Jeff qualified for the 2005 nationwide tour and also was the 2005 PGA Western New York Section Match Play Champion.  In 2007 Jeff tied for 3rd in the 2007 Western New York PGA Sectional Championship, and tied for first against all our local pros in the 2007 WRDGA Women’s-Pro Tournament held in September. In 2009 Jeff qualified for the PGA Professional National Championship and competed against the best of the best from around the world at Santa Ana Pueblo Golf Club in New Mexico.  You can see his results here.

Our Golf Course Superintendent Casey Utton came to Livingston Country Club at the start of the 2013 golf season. Casey is a graduate of SUNY Delhi with a degree in Applied Science: Golf Course Operations / Turf Management. Among the degree requirements, courses include: Advanced Turf Identification and Management, Grounds Equipment & Fleet Management, Soil Technology, Drawing & Surveying, Botany, Plant Entomology, Plant Pathology, Dendrology, Horticulture Chemicals, Sharpening & Grinding, Shade Tree Maintenance, Weeds & Weed Control, Parks & Recreation Administration, Landscape Construction & Irrigation Design. The program at Delhi is rigorous and one of the best Turf schools in the country with graduates that have gone on to work at Oak Hill CC, Merion Golf Club and Bethpage.

Most recently Casey has been the First Assistant Superintendent at the Yahnundasis Golf Club in New Hartford, NY. Constructed in 1924 by Walter Travis, who also built Stafford CC, the Yahnundasis is considered to be one of the best golf courses in Central New York and is the birthplace of the New York State Golf Association. Casey directed a variety of capital projects and improvements during his six year tenure at YGC.

Before working at the Yahnundasis, Casey was employed as an Assistant Superintendent in the Metropolitan area at Shackamaxon Country Club in Scotch Plains, NJ, Scarsdale Golf Club and Pelham Country Club, both in Westchester County, NY. All of Casey’s previous work experience were at private clubs where only the best course conditioning is accepted. He intends to maintain Livingston at the same private course level.

Casey is a native to the Syracuse area, which is another great golfing community. In addition to his passion for continued education in his field, Casey is a true golfer, and enjoys playing with the members at Livingston Country Club.

The LCC Pro-Shop staff includes retired PGA Pro, Billy Kaye. He brings golf knowledge, service and expertise to Livingston Country Club each spring and fall.

Also included on our staff is the knowledgeable and welcoming Justin Kellogg, Scott Freese and Jeff Pope.  Additional staff members that can be seen around the pro-shop include retired school teacher with personality plus, Phil Natoli.

Services: Jeff provides a full-service pro-shop that includes clothing, shoes, gloves, golf clubs and golf balls. In addition, merchandise may be special ordered. Jeff is available for consultations regarding club purchases and re-gripping.
