Jeff Kaye, PGA ProfessionalHead professional Jeff Kaye has been the club professional at Livingston since 1989. He brings expertise, quality, and character to this Country Club.  Jeff is a regular participant in WNY PGA Golf Tournaments.  Prior to Livingston, Jeff worked at the Lakeview Country Club in North East, PA, where he grew up, and at Elkdale Country Club in Salamanca. He currently resides with his lovely family in Geneseo.

In addition to holding the course record at Livingston with an impressive 64, Jeff is an accomplished tournament player recognized around the region and state.  In 2004 Jeff won five tournaments in the WNY PGA Section.  In 2005 Jeff qualified for the 2005 nationwide tour and also was the 2005 PGA Western New York Section Match Play Champion.  In 2007 Jeff tied for 3rd in the 2007 Western New York PGA Sectional Championship, and tied for first against all our local pros in the 2007 WRDGA Women’s-Pro Tournament held in September. In 2009 Jeff qualified for the PGA Professional National Championship and competed against the best of the best from around the world at Santa Ana Pueblo Golf Club in New Mexico.  You can see his results here.

Steve Bonno, SuperintendentThe Board of Directors at Livingston Country Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Steve Bonno as Head Greens Superintendent, effective on February 15, 2015.

A native of Rochester, New York and 1998 graduate of West Irondequoit High School, Steve spent the 2014 golf season as the assistant superintendent at Livingston CC, spearheading many of the efforts to maintain the course.

Steve studied Turf Management at SUNY Delhi and began his career as a foreman at Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, Maryland. His first promotion brought him to Army Navy Country Club in Virginia as an assistant superintendent, where he was involved in an extensive $10 million renovation that included; a stream bank restoration done by the US Fish and Wildlife, the rebuilding of every bunker and tee on the course, re-grassing 20 greens with a new bentgrass and the rebuilding of the other seven greens. In addition, the course installed a top of the line irrigation system, new pump house and pump station to support new drainage throughout the course.

In 2011, Steve moved back to Rochester to be closer to family and friends. He is an avid golfer and sports fan who roots for the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Syracuse Orange and Oakland A’s. On occasion, golfers should expect to see his 5-year old and friendly lab Juno on the course with Steve.

The L.C.C .Pro Shop is pleased to welcome back David Thompson, who served as the assistant pro at L.C.C. prior to becoming the PGA Professional at Bath Country Club. David brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the shop. An outstanding teacher, David will be available to members and the public for lessons. Call the shop to make an appointment.

The staff includes retired PGA Pro, Billy Kaye, who brings golf knowledge, service and expertise to Livingston Country Club each spring and fall, along with retired school teacher with personality plus, Phil Natoli.

Services: Jeff Kaye provides a full-service pro-shop that includes clothing, shoes, gloves, golf clubs and golf balls. In addition, merchandise may be special ordered. Jeff is available for consultations regarding club purchases and re-gripping.
